Seminar on “Cross-cultural communication” Shanghai, April 18th.

Shanghai
18 四月 2011
Cross-cultural considerations are essential to improve your internal communication to improve your company´s performance. A recent study by the European Chamber reported that "because of significant differences in mindsets between European and Chinese cultures, most Chinese talents expressed having encountered barriers in cross-cultural communication. At the same time, most expatriates were not fully prepared for the time consuming efforts in establishing communication. Such situations have significantly affected operational efficiency, and led to additional staff turnover due to the lack of understanding between managers and employees". More and more companies established in China put high value on training to improve the communication performance of their Chinese staff willing to make them more "westerner". This is a wrong approach that can lead to high frustration. How to handle the cultural differences by identifying them and putting them aside when doing business? This workshop seminar expects to provide an overview about what organizational change means and which are its objectives and goal by a practical training. The training will require the participation of 2 people from each company, one foreigner and one Chinese. We invite foreign managers and their assistant or HR manager to join the event and learn more about each other. Speakers - Rosanna Terminio - Asecorp China GM. - Venus Chen - Asecorp China trainer. Asecorp China is a consulting company with presence in China since 2004 and specialized in the areas of market strategy, finance and human resources. Location: Spanish Cultural Institute 208 Anfu Road 安福路208号
