CICC met with Changchun government in Beijing

On 17th February, the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) welcomed a delegation of the Changchun Municipal Bureau of Economic Cooperation at CICC Beijing Office. CICC Secretary General, Fabrizio Costa, and the Head of Beijing Office, Federica Viggiani had the pleasure of meeting with Director Zhao Qingli and Deputy Director Zhang Zhao, of the Changchun Municipal Bureau of Economic Cooperation.

Located in Jilin Province, Changchun offers a solid industrial base and a developed winter sports and tourism industry. It is also home to major players in the automotive industry such as FAW Group. Mr. Costa and Director Zhao Qingli exchanged views on several topics, including the cooperation base and opportunities in Changchun's robust industry sectors, cultural and tourism industries, and the ice and snow economy. During the discussion, both parties explored the shared strengths of enterprises in Changchun and Italy in relevant industries.

The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss future collaboration, with both parties expressing interest in maintaining close communication and possibly organizing some activities to explore further cooperation with Italian companies in the area.
