Visit at LEGO® Toy Manufacturing (Jiaxing) Co., Ltd, Shanghai

On June 20th, the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) organized a company visit to LEGO® Toy Manufacturing (Jiaxing) Co., Ltd. and the Jiaxing Economic and Technological Development Zone. The event, arranged in cooperation with the Representative Office of the Jiaxing Municipal Government in Shanghai, JXEDZ, and AsecorpChina, was themed "Automation, Meticulous Engineering, and Playful Creativity in Jiaxing". The visit offered the 30 attendees a valuable opportunity to explore the local manufacturing plant of the legendary Danish brand, and thus to gain a deeper understanding of the local industrial environment.

The event started with a welcome speech delivered by Andrea Wang, Director Specialist Government and Public Affairs, who introduced the LEGO® company and then led a tour of the company for all the delegates.

The second part was moderated by Mr. Liu Wuhong, Director of the Jiaxing Municipal People’s Government Shanghai Liaison Office. He welcomed the CICC delegation, and Emilio Cassanelli, CICC Board Member, who emphasized the importance of cooperation between Jiaxing and the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce.

Then, Mr. Qian Hui, Vice Director of the Management Committee of Jiaxing Economic and Technological Development Zone, introduced and described the situation of Italian companies in their industry park.

The final section was a Workshop with LEGO® SERIOUSPLAY® methodology carried out by Rosanna Terminio, Owner & Executive Strategy Consultant of AsecorpChina. This part was attended by all the CICC delegation members, and some leaders of JXEDZ.

The event concluded with a buffet, during which the participants had the opportunity to connect and share their impressions and ideas.
