  Event Description The China IPR SME Helpdesk invites you to an interactive and informative workshop which will address how intellectual property can be used as a valuable business asset in China. The workshop will teach you to identify your IP assets, prioritise them, gain company support and explore quick, cost effective measures you can put in place to protect your business. By attending this workshop you will gain a broad understanding on how to conduct an internal IP assessment and you will have the chance to learn from real life cases and participate in interactive exercises, which will address the following: - How to conduct an internal IP audit to identify which of your company`s assets can be considered intellectual property - Available tools for Intellectual Property protection in China and how to effectively protect your company’s assets - Get the opportunity to ask your individual questions to our experienced China IPR expert during a one-on-one consultation session following the workshop Speaker Biography Carol Wang, Senior Associate, Rouse Carol Wang is a senior associate of Rouse.       Despite the opportunities that the fast growth of e-commerce presents to Foreign SME’s to access or expand their operations in China Market, there is still a lack of understanding concerning the establishment, development and maintenance of an online business.
