Breakfast Seminar_Securing R&D Tax Incentives in China

Beijing
18 七月 2013
Securing R&D Tax Incentives in China   Save the date: 18th of July @ Westin Beijing Chaoyang Hotel     The Chinese Government has been encouraging and promoting R&D for over ten years by offering tax incentives to resident enterprises who conduct R&D activities, either as new innovations or as modification of existing products. A good understanding of R&D tax incentives can thus lead to significant tax savings for your business. On the one hand, due to the different interpretation on the R&D activities, some of entities which should be qualified for R&D tax incentives may have never claimed the incentives, or did not deduct enough R&D expenditures. On the other hand, the Chinese Government has also conducted investigations on the enterprises who did claim R&D tax incentives and specifically from April 1 2013, has conducted audits on High & New Technology Enterprise (HNTE) status.   As such, no matter whether your company has claimed R&D tax incentives or not, it is the right time to assess whether you have enjoyed the incentives you should have had. During this interactive breakfast meeting, we will discuss:   - How to determine eligible R&D activities and expenses - Whether all R&D expenditures are qualified according to the criteria - Whether the “Core Technology” is relevant to all products - What happens if a claim is audited - Whether your technology team and finance team speak the same language   About the Speakers: Mr. Roger Di, Tax Partner from KPMG with 15 years’ experience in PRC tax and business advisory. Roger served both domestic and multinational corporations, advising investors on investment regulatory advisory, foreign exchange, customs, establishment of companies in China, tax planning and designing tax effective investment structure, tax compliance review and tax due diligence reviews. Roger worked closely with KPMG scientist team with respect to R&D incentives claiming projects.      To register please send an email to info@cameraitacina.com by Wednesday, 17th of July at 17.00, including the following information:  • Name • Company Name • Position • Mobile number.
