          Challenges & Resolutions of IPR in China   China IPR SMEs Helpdesk and European Chamber of Commerce South-West China present a workshop on how to take advantage of the opportunities offered by Chinese market, while minimising the risk of intellectual property loss.             Level 10: After finishing the level 10 course, students will recognize 2266 Chinese words, 258 grammar points, and 427 key points of communication. They will be able to explain plans and goals, handle customers’ complaints, explain the characteristics of various professions and make brief evaluations, have a job interview, make education and career selections, handle farewell, welcome and reunion, talk about volunteering activities, express the willingness to help, explain what happened in chronological order. Level 11: After finishing the level 11 course, students will recognize 2488 Chinese words, 281 grammar points, and 466 key points of communication. They will be able to talk about sales performances, explain issues from different perspectives, comfort and persuade others, talk about family values, have commercial discussions, talk about the marriage customs of different countries, correct mistakes, tender one’s resignation, conduct market research, etc.     Who should attend ?   -This course is suitable for students who can recognize at least 2000 Chinese words and 250 grammar points, or alternatively have attended a minimum of 300 hours of Chinese language classes, and who already have a good grasp of everyday Chinese. -This course is designed to improve students’ oral Chinese and their ability to express themselves in longer phrases.             Level 1: After finishing the level 1 course, students will recognize at least 270 Chinese words, 25 grammar points, and 43 key points of communication. Students will be able to make self- introductions, greet strangers, introduce others, talk about themselves (e.g. nationality, age, family, etc.), ask for the time, etc. Level 2: After finishing the level 2 course, students will recognize at least 557 Chinese words, 67 grammar points, and 84 key points of communication. They will be able to talk about the dates, describe the position of something, talk about colors and prices, ask for and give directions, order food and check out, make telephone calls, describe a room’s decoration, take a bus and transfer, buy something, etc. Level 3: After finishing the level 3 course, students will recognize at least 785 Chinese words, 94 grammar points, and 123 key points of communication. They will learn to use the progressive tense, talk about the weather, discuss living habits, mail letters and packages, talk about exchange rates, exchange money, see a doctor, discuss gastronomy, etc. Level 4: After finishing the level 4 course, students will recognize at least 990 Chinese words, 121 grammar points, and 166 key points of communication.
