Suzhou Chapter's Experiences to Overcome the Impact of Epidemic

Dear Members and Friends,

The latest meeting of the Suzhou Chapter of the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) was held both online and offline on April 8th, 2022.

The meeting, which was attended by 20 companies, mainly discussed the current epidemic situation in Shanghai and Suzhou. The participants exchanged information on the containment policies implemented in the different areas of Suzhou such as SIP, SND, Kunshan, Taicang and Changshu, highlighting the impact and challenges that Italian companies in the Suzhou area are currently facing due to the recent prevention measures taken by local authorities. Impacts and challenges that mainly affected logistics, production and supply chain.

These unexpected and significant disruptions obviously had a severe impact on Italian investors. CICC's Suzhou office will organize new meetings to share information on the issue and address the changing epidemic situation together with our members.
