RECAP | CICC Joins SH’s 2025 Commerce and Investment Briefing

On February 19, the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce participated in the “2025 Briefing on Shanghai’s Commerce and Investment,” hosted by the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce (SCOFCOM) at the Pudong Shangri-La Hotel.

The event provided an overview of the city’s development plans for 2024 and the key priorities for commerce and investment in 2025.

Among the distinguished speakers was Mr. Hua Yuan, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee and Vice Mayor of Shanghai.

The briefing also saw the participation of various departments from the Shanghai Municipal People's Government, including the Shanghai Municipal Development and Reform Commission, Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce, Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Planning and Natural Resources, Foreign Affairs Office of the Shanghai Municipal People's Government, China International Import Expo Bureau, and more.

Representing the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce at the event were East China Board Members Cristina Corsini, Emilio Cassanelli, and Eugenia Valente.
