RECAP | China IIT Compliance for Expats, 21.03, Suzhou

On March 21st, 2025, the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC), in cooperation with Allpro, hosted the seminar "CICC Member Benefits: China IIT Compliance for Expats" in Suzhou.

The seminar provided foreign professionals with valuable insights into China's Individual Income Tax regulations, offering updates on annual tax reconciliation, equity incentives, and tax optimization strategies.

Ms. Elisa Qiu, Jiangsu Area Manager of CICC, introduced the Chamber’s benefits to the attendees, while Ms. Tracy Wu, Tax Manager of Allpro, led an expert sharing session focusing on practical strategies for IIT compliance for foreign expats in China.

A highlight of the event was the 1-on-1 consultation session, where attendees received personalized guidance from tax experts.

The event successfully provided CICC member companies' HR and finance teams with the knowledge needed to navigate the complexities of taxation in China, while enhancing their understanding of local and national incentives available to foreign talent.
