RECAP | 2025 Nanjing Appreciation Meeting

On January 9th, 2025, the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) organized the 2025 Nanjing Appreciation Meeting at the Jinling Hotel in Nanjing. The event brought together a delegation of Italian companies and Nanjing authorities to enhance bilateral ties and explore new collaboration opportunities.

Mr. Zhou Hongbo, Member of the Standing Committee of the Jiangsu Provincial CPC Committee and Secretary of the Nanjing Municipal CPC Committee, welcomed the CICC delegation and its member companies, emphasizing Nanjing’s openness to international cooperation and support for future partnerships.

Mr. Lorenzo Riccardi, Chairman of the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce, reaffirmed the Chamber’s commitment to fostering collaboration between Italian enterprises and local authorities.

Discussions focused on deepening cooperation in key areas, including technological innovation, implementing the “Three-Year Action Plan” agreed upon by both governments, boosting consumption through brand introductions, organizing business delegations to Italy, encouraging mutual investments, and promoting frequent cultural and economic exchanges.

The CICC expresses its gratitude to the participating Italian companies for their support and to the Nanjing Foreign Affairs Office for their assistance in making this event a success.
