Post event - Seminar: “Individual & Corporate Taxation Updates” – Guangzhou – April 18th, 2019

Dear Members and Friends,

The Seminar “Individual & Corporate Taxation Updates” was successfully held on April 18th in Guangzhou.

First of all, CICC would like to give our special thanks to Mr. Benoit Stos for supporting the event as speaker.

We would like to thank Benelux Chamber of Commerce in China for cooperating with CICC in organizing this Seminar. And we also thank Ginstar Restaurant for kindly providing us the venue.

The Seminar gathered more than 20 participants, that actively attended with great interest.

The Seminar aimed at giving an overview on the new tax cuts for both individuals and corporates. Recently, in order to support its economy, China has announced recently further cuts in taxes for both individuals and businesses and is spurring banks to extend loans to SMEs.  These changes concern Individual Income tax, Enterprise Income Tax, customs duties, VAT and also social contributions. The Seminar focused on the impact of what these new changes may bring us.

After the speaker’s presentation, the session Q&A helped the participants to deepen the knowledge about the topic.
