POST EVENT: "Prima Linea", November 20th, 2019- Shanghai

Dear Members and Friends,

The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) is glad to announce that PRIMA LINEA - a project on creative spaces for children organised by IADC - was successfully held on November 20th, in Shanghai.

Mr. Roberto Pagani, Science and Technology Counsellor of the Consulate General of Italy in Shanghai, opened the event, recalling the importance of playing at every age and the role of design and architecture in making it possible.

Mr. Valtero Canepa, Vice Chairman Shanghai China-Italy Chamber of Commerce, welcomed all the participants to the Venue of the event, which is the new location of CICC, Shanghai Office.

Nunzia Carbone, Principal and Founder of DEDODESIGN, launched the project PRIMA LINEA, that will consist in many opportunities and workshops on the theme during the following year.

Afterwards, the first Round Table: “Children today in China – spaces and difficulties” took place.

The Roundtable was moderated by Prof. Francesca Valsecchi and joined by Arch. Nicola Pagano, Arch. Aldo Cibic, Prof. Paola Trapani, Arch. Nunzia Carbone, Prof. Avril Accolla. The roundtable dealt with the theme of co-design spaces together with children, highlighting the importance of involving in the concept creation not only children, but also parents and educators.

Following the debate, the Video “Creative Space for Children Collection” was displayed.

The second Round Table: “Design for educative spaces – suggestions and solutions”, was always moderated by Prof. Francesca Valsecchi. This time the Round Table was held by Arch. Luca Brizzi Brignoli, Arch. Michele Armando, Arch. Gianmaria Quarta, Arch. Alfio Di Bella, Arch. Stefano Piontini.

The event was concluded by the Networking cocktail.
