The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) is glad to inform you that the webinar "How to Measure Food Safety" was successfully held on 17th of March with the collaboration of the Canadian Chamber of Commercein Shanghai (CanCham).
The webinar aimed at providing an informative session about good food safety and sanitation practices to address the challenges posed by the COVID-19. Food safety guidelines are imperative to ensure the health of customers, maximize the longevity of food products, and develop proper hazard management protocols.
The meeting was moderated by Matt Whately, Deputy Director of CanCham in Shanghai, who introduced Mathieu Cormier, Executive Director of CanCham in Shanghai and Emanuela Vizzarro, CICC Shanghai Office Manager for welcome greetings.
The webinar continued with the following topics and speakers:
- "Internal Guidelines on Safety Measures for Restaurants" by Mark Klingspon, Creator, Managing Director, Co-Partner of THE NEST, THE CANNERY, RYE&CO, JUJU.
- Case Study: "Restaurant Operations and Procedures during the COVID-19" by Umberto Sorrentino, General Manager F&B at Mammamia! Group.
The webinar was followed by a Q&A session during which participants had the opportunity to ask their questions to the panelists.
