The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) is glad to share the successful organization of the event, "Navigating the Next Wave: Understanding Gen Z Consumer Behavior in China" held on January 16th both online and at our Shanghai office.
The event provided the opportunity to engage industry leaders and enthusiasts keen on deepening their understanding of the consumption patterns and behaviors of Gen Z in China. Through a series of enlightening presentations and discussions, our speakers provided invaluable insights into this dynamic demographic, emphasizing the importance of tailored communication strategies to engage effectively with Gen Z consumers.
The event kicked off with an insightful introduction by Renzo Isler, Secretary General of CICC, setting the stage for a deep dive into the intricacies of Gen Z consumer habits. Yuhong Li and Carol Gu from Ylab Consultancy shared groundbreaking strategies on how to communicate with Gen Z, shedding light on their preferences and digital inclinations. Andrea Fenn of Adiacent China captivated the audience with his expertise on the challenges and opportunities that Gen Z presents to foreign companies in China, offering practical advice on navigating these waters. The event was moderated by Carlotta Godio, Co-founder and GM at FLATMIND Productions and Vice Coordinator of CICC Italian Quality & Lifestyle Council.
The engaging Q&A session allowed attendees to probe deeper into the subject matter, fostering a richer understanding of Gen Z's impact on the market landscape.
