Italian National Pavilion at World Winter Sports Expo 2023

On September 15th, the Italian National Pavilion at the World Winter Sports Expo (WWSE) was inaugurated in Beijing’ Shougang Park.

The National Pavilion was organized by the Italian Embassy to the P.R.C., the  Italian Trade Agency (ITA), the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) and Assosport.

The Cutting Ribbon Ceremony was attended by H.E. Massimo Ambrosetti, Ambassador of Italy to the People’s Republic of China, Gianpaolo Bruno,  Italian Trade Commissioner and Coordinator of Italian Trade Agency (ITA) Offices in China and Mongolia, Ivo Ferriani, Member of the Executive Board of the International Olympic Committee and President of the Association of International Olympic Winter Sports Federations, Zhao Yinggang, President of the Chinese Bobsleigh Association, Deputy Director of the Beijing Winter Olympic Sustainable Development Committee, and  Zhang Li, Executive Vice President of ADG Asia Data Group.

For many years now, Italy has always been chosen as the official supplier of snow tracked vehicles and other related equipment for the Winter Olympics sports venues. The excellence of Italian products in terms of winter sports is well-known worldwide.

The Pavilion gathered several Italian companies ranging from snowmaking systems to technical and sports apparel and equipment which actively participated in this year's Winter Expo and introduced their products.
