EVENT RECAP Monthly Networking Dinner with guided tour, Shanghai

The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) is glad to inform you that the CICC Monthly Networking Dinner was successfully held on Tuesday, 30th of January at Goodfellas.

Twenty-five guests were treated to an exclusive tour of the stunning exhibition BEAUTY CHANGES: 100 Years of Italian Fashion and Costume.  Held at Bund 33, an over 170-year-old historic building on the Bund, the exhibition traces the origins and evolution of the identity and influence of Italian fashion from the 1900s to the present. From Maria Monaci Gallenga, the first Italian modern fashion "godmother" to walk the world stage; to Emilio Schuberth, one of the founders of Italian high fashion, who introduced the Italian aesthetic to Hollywood; Roberto Capucci, one of Italy's most dazzling fashion "geniuses", known as an "architect of clothing"; the Sorelle Fontana, the taste-makers who worked to set the fashion trends during the golden age of Hollywood; Emilio Pucci, the "Prince of Prints"; Giorgio Armani, the founder of Armani; and Valentino Garavani, the founder of Valentino.

After the visit, almost 50 people gathered together and made connections in a lively and joyful atmosphere at Goodfellas.

The event is part of a series of networking dinners that we are hosting monthly in Shanghai, to give people a chance to mingle and network in a more relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
