EVENT RECAP | CICC at the Opening Ceremony of CSITF 2024

On June 12th, the Chairman of the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC), Lorenzo Riccardi, and CICC Public Affairs Manager, Chen Wei, attended the Opening Ceremony of the 10th China (Shanghai) International Technology Import and Export Fair Proposal at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center.

The event saw the participation of many representatives of the local authorities. Among the distinguished guests were: Gong Zheng, Deputy Secretary of the Shanghai Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, and Zhejiang Provincial Leaders.

Later, Jiang Xiaojuan, President of the China Industrial Economics Society, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor of the University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences delivered speeches on the current status and trends of technology trade development in the world.

The CICC plays an important role for the Italian companies in China to reinforce the cooperation with local government and to promote to a higher level the economic and trade cooperation and exchanges between China and Italy.
