On January 30th the Energy and Environment Protection Working Group (EEPWG) of the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce held the first group meeting of 2024 both in Beijing and online.
The meeting was chaired by the new leadership in the person of Luigi Fiato, Vice Coordinator (RINA Industry Innovation & Technology), together with the Coordinator of the group Teti Maria Licursi (ENI Representative Office Beijing) and Shouxiang Eric Sun (SNAM China), who led a roundtable discussion among the participating companies.
Major activities across China and common topics of interest of the group were discussed. The group will continue to provide insights into China's evolving energy and environment sector, supporting member companies in navigating evolving regulations and trends. Among the new initiatives, the group will launch a newsletter for members to stay informed on the current issues.

About Energy & Environment Protection Working Group (EEPWG)
EEPWG welcomes all Italian companies, entities, and individuals operating within the energy and environmental protection industrial sectors along the relative value chains (upstream, downstream, fossil energy, renewable energy, distribution, consumption, emission/water/waste/soil treatment, energy saving, etc.). EEPWG is an initiative supported by the Embassy of Italy to the PRC and China-Italy Chamber of Commerce. EEPWG aims at representing the active coordination structure of the “Pacchetto Energia/Ambiente” developed by the Embassy of Italy in 2014 and subject to many inter-governmental agreements.
