Concerted action in the Energy Field| EEPWG Kick-off Beijing Edition, October 27th 2021

Our Energy and Environmental Protection Working Group (EEPWG) kick-off informal meeting (Beijing Edition) was held on October 27th 20021, gathering the Sino-Italian business community in the field.

On the occasion, Ms. Teti Licursi, Vice Coordinator of the EEPWG presented the activity plan of the group and its main objectives under the new leadership.  CICC Vice President in Beijing Mr. Matteo Tanteri, underlined the importance of the EEPWG and its role within the Chamber while inviting companies to commit and join forces to give new strength to the group action.

During the meeting, participants had the opportunity to share relevant experiences, insights, and suggestions.  Once again, the importance of concerted action in the field emerged, setting the scope of the group work for the next two years.

EEPWG welcomes all Italian companies, entities, and individuals operating within the energy and environmental protection industrial sectors along the relative value chains (upstream, downstream, fossil energy, renewable energy, distribution, consumption, emission/water/waste/soil treatment, energy saving, etc.).

EEPWG is an initiative supported by the Embassy of Italy to the PRC and China-Italy Chamber of Commerce. EEPWG aims at representing the active coordination structure of the “Pacchetto Energia/Ambiente” developed by the Embassy of Italy in 2014 and subject to many inter-governmental agreements.
