CICC joins State Visit of Italian President Mattarella to China

Italian President Sergio Mattarella conducted a State Visit to the People’s Republic of China from November 7 to November 12, visiting Beijing, Hangzhou, and Guangzhou. This visit was a key step in deepening diplomatic and economic ties between Italy and China. The Head of state visit had the partecipation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs Antonio Tajani in Beijing and of the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Edmondo Cirielli in Hangzhou and Guangzhou.

The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC), led by its Chairman Lorenzo Riccardi, participated in all stages of this visit. In Beijing, Chairman Riccardi attended the State Dinner at the Great Hall of the People, hosted by China's President Xi Jinping in honor of President Mattarella and his delegation.

CICC Chairman and Board Members also joined the meetings with the Italian head of state and the Italian communities in Beijing on 8 November, in Hangzhou on 10 November and in Guangzhou on 12 November.
