CICC discusses China’s economic ties at the Italian Parliament

On March 6, 2025, the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) joined the Center for Contemporary China Studies and the Parliamentary Association on China for a high-level discussion at the Giacomo Matteotti Hall, Chamber of Deputies, Rome. The event explored the evolving political and economic landscape of China-Italy-Europe relations in the Trump Era.

CICC participated with Chairman Lorenzo Riccardi joining via video conference and Board Member Alessandro Petrini attending onsite. Speakers included Vinicio Peluffo (President, Parliamentary Association "Amici della Cina"), Alberto Bradanini (President, Center for Contemporary China Studies), Sergio Paba (University of Modena and Reggio Emilia), and Giuliano Noci (Vice-Rector for China, Politecnico di Milano). The discussion, moderated by journalist Gabriele Caramellino, provided key insights into geopolitical shifts and their impact on bilateral cooperation.
