CICC Chair Riccardi joins China Economic Forum in Wuhan

On October 15th, 2025, CICC Chairman Lorenzo Riccardi attended the China Economic and Trade Cooperation Forum in Wuhan.

The event, organized by the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China and the Hubei Provincial People’s Government, marked the 50th anniversary of China–EU diplomatic relations and focused on green innovation, cross-border e-commerce, and industrial supply chain cooperation.

Hubei Province serves as a major economic and transportation hub, linking eastern coastal regions with the western hinterland. Known for its strong industrial base in manufacturing, automotive, optics, and advanced technology, Hubei plays a key role in promoting high-quality development and fostering international cooperation within China’s central region.

CICC reaffirms its commitment to fostering closer ties between China and Europe, contributing to discussions with senior officials, diplomats, and business leaders from across Nordic and European countries.
