CICC at the Beijing Premiere of the Musical La Divina Commedia

On July 31st, 2025, the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) took part in the Beijing premiere night of La Divina Commedia – The Musical at the Century Theater.

The event was held in celebration of the 55th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Italy and was preceeded by a thematic forum titled “Literature and Stage: Contemporary Paths of Interaction between Chinese and Italian Civilizations.” The forum was jointly organized by the China Arts and Entertainment Group (CAEG), the Embassy of Italy to the P.R.C., and the Committee for Culture and Peace of the Charhar Institute. It brought together representatives from the cultural, artistic, academic, and diplomatic spheres of both countries for a dialogue on the modern interpretation of literary classics and cross-cultural artistic exchange.

Representing the CICC at the event were Chairman Lorenzo Riccardi, Vice President in the North Andrea Croci, and Vice Secretary General Federica Viggiani. Their participation underscored the Chamber’s commitment to supporting initiatives that promote cultural diplomacy and strengthen Sino-Italian ties through the arts.
