China Focus For Italian SMEs, May 14th 2017, Beijing_Post Event

Dear Members and Friends of CICC,

On May 14th 2017, the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with Confindustria and Pirelli, with the support of the Embassy of Italy and the Italian Trade Agency, organized the "China Focus For Italian SMEs", which was held at the Spazio Italia. Around 60 people took part in the event, including a delegation of Italian SMEs representatives in China to participate in the Italy-China Business Forum on May 15th.

The event began with the greetings by Enrico Berti, First Secretary of the Embassy of Italy, Marco Gasparroni, Vice-Chairman of the CICC, Filippo Maria Grasso, Head of Institutional Affairs at Pirelli, Ilaria Vescovi, Chairman of the "Gruppo Tecnico Internazionalizzazione dei Territori" of Confindustria, and Filippo Petz, Vice-Director of the Italian Trade Agency in Beijing.

The event continued with the keynote speech by Sara Marchetta, EUCCC National Representative and Resident Partner Studio Legale Chiomenti and a panel discussion moderated by Francesco Lorenzini, Founder of Tech silu, on the Italian business community experience in China. The participants in the panel were: Valtero Canepa, Vice-Chairman of the CICC and General Manager of Shanghai Bracco Sine Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., Federico Bullo, General Manager of Saic Fiat Powertrain Hongyan Co.,Ltd, and Cristian Cattalini, Meltshop Business Unit Director Tenova Industrial Technologies (Beijing) Co., Ltd.

Domenico di Liello, Knowledge Centre Coordinator of the EU SME Centre, opened the second panel discussion on the new generation of Chinese Consumers, moderated by Sara Marchetta. The participants were: Angelo Morano, General Manager of Insider International (Shanghai) Limited, and Matteo Oppici, COO of Smeg (Euroidea).
