  Companies have experienced difficulties obtaining visa for foreign interns as a number of years of work experience are required. However, this policy seems to be changing in Shanghai now in order to attract global talent. Shanghai has recently approved the first work permit for an international student who has just graduated. Experienced professionals, on the other hand, still have encountered difficulties getting work visa in China in many cases.
