Post Event: Natale, Christmas like in Italy - December 8th, 9th, 10th, Shanghai

“Natale, Christmas like in Italy” was successfully held at Florentia Village in Shanghai from December 8th to December 10th. 

The event, organized by CICC was a great opportunity to live the real Italian Christmas atmosphere.

The event was embellished by different types of entertainment activities from the tasting of traditional Italian food and beverage, to the exhibition of a unique collection of Christmas trees customized by the Italian Companies members of the CICC, available until December 26th, 2017. Each tree represents the identity of each Italian companies that decided to take part at this folkloristic initiative.

We would like to warmly thank the food&beverage vendors that took part at the event, who represented the best of the Italian Cuisine: Alce Nero, Bella Vita, Birra Viola, CasaModena, Finigate, Il Botolo, Meseta, Polvanera, Sinodrink.

Moreover, the CICC provided a Kids Area where children with their parents had the opportunity to enjoy some time together painting and making their own Christmas greeting cards.

The event started on December 8th with the “soft opening”. Keeping the Italian Tradition, in this first day, the Italian Companies, who took part at the event, start to ornate their Christmas trees with customized decorations.

The Opening Ceremony took place on December 9th hosted by Mrs. Simona Lodolo, the Manager of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai, with the great participation of the Italian Consul General in Shanghai, Mr. Stefano Beltrame, the CICC Vice President, Mr. Valtero Canepa and the the MD at RDM Asia, Mr. Maurizio Lupi.

December 10th was the last day of all the activities organized for the event: guests had the chance both to taste and to buy delicious Italian F&B products while they were surrounded by the warming Italian Christmas atmosphere in a sunny day of shopping at Florentia Village.

In Italy, Christmas is one of the most important celebration that brings together people and the CICC, organized this event, in order  to strenght the relationship between the Italian and the Chinese community. Thus, thanks to the participation of a great number of guests, it was a great success and the CICC would like to thank everyone who take part in the event.
