IPWG's Web-Event: Recent developments in Alibaba Group’s IPR protection tools and policies - June 21st, 2018

The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce is glad to inform you that on June 21^st 2018, CICC Intellectual Property Working Group (IPWG) is hosting a knowledge sharing web-event about recent developments in Alibaba Group’s IPR protection tools and policies.

Please join the IPWG web-event to learn more about:

(a) News on Alibaba’s brand protection cooperation programs;

(b) Recent developments and future plans;

(c) Technical solutions for proactive monitoring.

Agenda of the meeting:

• Opening remarks by CICC Secretary General Giulia Gallarati - hosting the video conference from CICC Beijing Office premises
• Introduction and moderation by CICC IPWG Chair Davide Follador – video conference from Beijing
• Brook Li, Director of IPR Protection Operations, Alibaba Group will give an opening speech and brief introduction - video conference from Hangzhou
• Lynn Fu, Director of Brand Protection Cooperation, Alibaba Group - main speaker, will introduce Alibaba Group’s IPR framework
• IPWG Members/partners might showcase experience in IP enforcement/cooperation on China's online market
• Ying Guo, Head of Offline Taskforce, Alibaba Group – will be available during the Q&A session together with Brook Li and Lynn Fu
• The meeting will continue with a semi-structured discussion among participants.

Please send a separate email to postmaster@ipwg.it if you would like to deliver a short presentation (10 minutes case studies) to showcase your experience.

The event will be web-based from pc or Mac, so as to allow time-efficient participation from attendees in multiple geographical locations.

CICC Members will be offered the possibility to attend the event from the CICC Office in Beijing, Unit 1612, Zhongyu Plaza, A6, Gongti North Road, Chaoyang District.
