The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC), in collaboration with its Intellectual Property Working Group (IPWG), is glad to invite you to a new IPeritif titled “Chinese IP in Europe: Cases and Numbers”. The event will be held on 25th April 2025 from 17:30 (China Time) at GioGiò Italian Restaurant, in Shanghai.

WHY PARTICIPATE?

As China continues its rapid technological advancement, its companies are increasingly engaging in intellectual property (IP) disputes and enforcement actions worldwide. Europe, with its strong IP framework and newly established Unified Patent Court (UPC), has become a key battleground for Chinese tech firms.

In this event, we will explore the IP facts and numbers of Chinese companies in Europe and the recent legal cases involving Chinese companies at the Unified Patent Court (UPC), examining their strategies and challenges both as plaintiffs and defendants. Our experts will provide first-hand insights into how Chinese businesses are protecting their innovations in Europe.
