Call for vendors-Giro d'Italia Ride like a Pro 2020

Dear Members and Friends of CICC,

The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) is glad to announce that the  “Giro d’Italia Ride like a Pro” will be held on November 21st and November 22nd in Qingpu, Shanghai. It is an event created to bring a new event concept for the cycling fans and those who love the sport & the Italian atmosphere. In the framework of  this unique and exciting cycling experience, there will be also an open outdoor market. 

ABOUT THE EVENT

Giro d’Italia Ride like a Pro is a two-day cycling festival, combing rides and distances appealing to both competitive as well as the casual riders. It will provide a riding experience across varied distances and in a safe and secure environment for cyclists of all ages and experience levels. Cycling legends and current stars will complement the race and provide additional excitement to the riding experience

• 2,500 participants (families, amateurs and professional riders)
• Over 2,000 general spectators attending the Festival
• Male & Female, 25-55yo (Primary audience)
• Children 6- 16yo and Families (Secondary audience)
• Varied distances (10km up to 89km)

THE CICC IS LOOKING FOR THE FOLLOWING VENDORS:

Companies,  that are interested in having a tent in the open outdoor market area of Giro d'Italia,  where they can showcase and sell Italian food and beverage, design and sport products to the public, to promote and celebrate the Italian culture in a very lively environment.

Please note: all the F&B vendors and F&B staff involved in daily operations are required to UNDERGO A MANDATORY COVID TEST, put on masks, gloves and standby a sanitizer bottle at their booths.  The mandatory Covid test should be no earlier than 16th Nov 2020, 7 days before our event.

Tent Price:

• 1000 RMB for CICC member
• 2000 RMB for non-member
• Please note: for the vendors participating in the outdoor market at Sinan Mansion during  the Italian Week (13-15 November) , the participation is free of charge 

Equipment for vendors

• 1 tent  
• Table-chair
• Electricity (fire is not allowed,  use the electromagnetic oven to cook)

APPLICATION PROGRESS

• Please register by clicking here or scan the QR code

• First come, first served
• CICC will contact you regarding the details of the event
• After evaluating,  CICC will give you a feedback regarding the result

PARTICIPATION TERMS

• Participation in tendering is open to CICC Members and non-Members and Italian associations
• Companies competing in the tender must have the necessary knowledge and experience and have the technical support and personnel capable to run the tender
• Each company can submit only one tender
• The tender is to be drafted in Italian or English, filled in and signed
• It is the responsibility of the tenderer to study the specification and requirements before submitting the tender

EVALUATION CRITERIA

• CICC will give priority to its Members and it will select the first submitted bid meeting the standards required
• If no applications are submitted by the Members of the Chamber, the Chamber has the right to select the most appropriate application submitted by one of the non-Member companies

Deadline:  26 October, 2020

The results about the tendering shall be announced by email after proper evaluation.
