Call for tender – Event Agency for Bakery China 2020

Dear Members and Friends of CICC,

The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce is glad to announce that it will take part in the Bakery China 2020 international fair to be held from May 6th to 9th, 2020, in Shanghai.

The CICC will arrange an Italian pavilion located inside the E5 Hall and dedicated to international exhibitors. The event aims at promoting Italian excellence and Italian producers of ingredients and semi-finished products for the Bakery, Pastry & Ice Cream sector.

The CICC will organize seminars, show cooking and other activities to benefit the participating Italian brands.

 

CALL INVITATION

The CICC is looking for an Event Agency engaged in fair organization.

The Agency will be in charge of the following services:

  • Graphic layout of the Italian exhibition area
  • Coordination of pre-fair companies and during the fair
  • Provision of services such as: interpreting, Chef for cooking shows, translation and printing of catalogs

 

APPLICATION DOCUMENTS

Please send your Company Credentials to infoshanghai@cameraitacina.com by July 16th, 2019.

 

REQUIREMENTS

 The credentials should include the following requirements:

1. Case History of similar projects in the F&B sector

2. Reference budget requested by the agency for each case history presented

3. Company structure and background of managers

 

CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION 

  • Participation in tendering is open to CICC Members and non-Members
  • Companies competing in the tender must have the necessary knowledge and experience and have the technical support and personnel capable to run the tender
  • Company may submit only one tender
  • The tender is to be drafted in Italian or English, filled in and signed
  • It is the responsibility of the tenderer to study the specification and requirements before submitting the tender

 

EVALUATION CRITERIA

  • The selection of the supplier will be made according to the event’s requirements
  • The selection of the supplier will be made according to the lowest bidding price received
  • If the bidding price is the same or the service/goods are supplied free of charge, the Chamber will give priority to the members of the Chamber first and will select the first submitted bid that will meet the standards of quality indicated
  • If no applications are submitted by the members of the Chamber, the Chamber has the right to select the most appropriate application submitted by one of the non-member companies present on CICC database

 

EXCLUSION FROM TENDER

  • In case of not meeting the conditions of the tendering process
  • In case of non-conformity with the hereby open call for tender
  • In case of submitting false data
  • Late submission

Bakery China is now firmly one of the main world events of the sector and the main one in China, with over 2,300 selected exhibitors and over 230,000 visitors from 120 countries. For more information about the fair click here.

Bakery and confectionery products play an increasingly important role in the Chinese economy. Local production is expected to grow at an average annual rate of 7.4% between 2018 and 2021, generating an increase in turnover from 39 to 49 billion euro in the same three-year period.

The search for a better quality of production, the growing trend of imports and the gigantic size of the local market generate numerous opportunities for Italian companies in the sector able to adequately communicate the quality of Made in Italy as the main asset of their product.
