Dear Members and Friends of the CICC, We are pleased to share with you an activity of interest in the Architecture and Interior Design industry supported by the Consulate General of Italy in Chongqing and our Chamber of Commerce. The event is “the Chengdu Creativity & Design Week” (CCDW), to be held from 25-27th November, organized by China-Italy Creative Center Chengdu.   The event includes eight activities such as an expo featuring the city’s creativity and design industry, an awarding ceremony on best creativity, and a program inviting foreign and domestic masters to show their design works on Chengdu. It’s a good opportunity for you to meet new partners in China.      The 1st Chengdu Design week, supported by the Chengdu Municipal Bureau of Commerce was held in October 2014. During this event there were over 1,000,000 Visitors, and over 2000 Exhibitors. CCDW with 500 sqm space free to show, is the highest level event of this sector in western China.   The program includes: 11. 24th Arriving in Chengdu and transfer 11. 25th Fair and press conference with Italian institutions 11. 26th Fair and awarding ceremony by Chengdu Municipality with the “creative design award”. Entertainment activities for the evening. 11.27th Fair and visit to buildings of architectural interest in Chengdu. 11.28th Meeting with China-Italy Creative Center and transfer to the airport. After the success of the first three appointments of the Business Chinese Evening Workshop, new sessions for the fall-winter season are coming! Organized by the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) in collaboration with YourMandarin Chinese Language Institute, the event is free of charge upon registration, with one complimentary drink (coffee, cappuccino or tea) held on October 26th 2016, 7.30 PM at Spazio Italia (81 Plaza 3rd floor, Bayi Road 250, Jiefangbei, Yuzhong District, Chongqing 重庆 渝中区 八一路250号 81广场第三层L305).   The workshop will focus on the use of the Chinese language for business, dealing with different topics to give a language and culture introduction to the Chongqing expat community.
