   China-Italy Chamber of Commerce, Shanghai, and the Service Providers Work Group (SPWG), with the support of Haworth Organic Workspace, are pleased to invite you to the following seminar: IFRS - International Financing Reporting Standards: what is going on? Most of European and American countries have adopted the IFRS in the preparation of the financial statements. This seminar will help you to understand the current situation and how to apply in your preparation of the reporting for your HQ. Topics discussed during the seminar shall investigate below aspects: Financial instruments: what can we expect in the near future? Get updated on measurement issues, new impairment approach on loans (expected losses approach) and on equity investments (what are these strategic investments about?) Joint ventures: what`s new about the proposal to delete proportionate consolidation? Leases: learn more about the right of use. There will be no more distinction between operating leases and finance leases.   Speaker: The seminar is organized with the support and expertise of Mazars, and will be presented by Mr.Pascal Jauffret, head of IFRS technical team in Asia Pacific: Pascal is leading Mazars` IFRS team in Asia Pacific. He supervises IFRS conversion in Indonesia, India and Malaysia.
