OPERATION/PROJECT MANAGER

Main Duties:

• Develop from the initial stages new projects for the Automotive Industries, starting from the feasibility studies from economic and technological point of view. Develop a business plan related for each single project, including timing GANTT, resource implementation and phasing out of existing projects;
• Oversee, overview, approve, modify with a target and dead line approach all the Project Phases such as: Tooling concepts, tool and mol production, process engineering, process know how, CAD simulation, prototypes, pilot production, PPAP, processing up to the mass production;
• Coordinate with the logistic department the just in time stock between the Tianjin platform and the Italian hub, guarantee a smooth and constant flow of goods and products between the two entities, including implementing solutions to optimize the logistic and stocking costs;
• Be responsible of setting up and handling the Auditing Process from the main automotive customers according the industry common standards (IATF, Vda, etc.);
• Overview the daily communication process with the automotive customers for what concern quality, technology, production and logistic reports;
• Work out to implement standard operating procedures for production operations and improve the existing ones including and not limited to 5S management;
• Ensure implementation and compliance to HSE procedures;
• Set product quality standards with the quality department for achieving a Zero-defect policy;
• Implement and enforce quality control and tracking programs to meet quality traceability objectives;
• Estimate production costs, set and manage production budgets on a monthly base;
• Implement material usage / cost control programs;
• Ensure efficient collaboration and co-ordination between relevant departments including procurement, logistics, finance and management.
