EVENT RECAP | Evolution of Nebbiolo in the Chinese Market

On April 10th took place the webinar ‘The Evolution of Nebbiolo in the Chinese Market, Discovering the KING of Italian Grapes’, held by the Food and Beverage Working Group of the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC).

The webinar focused on the development of Barolo, the most iconic wine from Piedmont region made with Nebbiolo grapes, inside the Chinese market and, starting from its evolution, it analyzed the wine's market and the best sales strategies. 

The webinar, moderated by the Coordinator of CICC F&BWG, Cristiano Bernardi, featured talks by several experts in the field:

• Simone Semprini, VM Fine Wines Shanghai Area Manager
• Roberto Candido Mormile, Founder of LUNANERA winery association
• Paolo Clemente, Wine Senior Export Manager
• Matteo Ascheri, President of the Consortium for the protection Barolo, Barbaresco, Alba, Langhe and Dogliani.
