Discover Seiterre Refined Italian Wines

In November, the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce held a masterclass dedicated to the Italian company Seiterre: From the Soil to the Table, Discover Seiterre Refined Italian Wines.




Seiterre specializes in the production and distribution of Italian wines. It is a large company with production in six different regions in Italy: Trentino, Veneto, Friuli, Lombardia, Piemonte, and Toscana.

The masterclass brought together more than 30 selected operators, such as importers and distributors, to learn about Seiterre and its products.

The masterclass was guided by Carlo Alberto Manerba, Oenologist, and Anna Rizzi, Marketing Manager & Business Developer for Foreign Markets, both representing the 5th Generation of the company.

The event was opened by Renzo Isler, Secretary General of the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce, who stressed the importance of promoting Made in Italy in China. Seiterre fully embodies the real made-in-Italy tradition.

Seiterre has a long history from the first generation until today. It is a family business born in 1877 from the passion of the Rizzi family for the cultivation of the grape and the production of wine on their farm in the Trentino area (North of Italy).

Seiterre today has its production in six different regions. They produce the most famous Italian wines, such as Trento DOC, Lugana DOC, Prosecco DOC, Valpolicella Ripasso DOC, Amarone Della Valpolicella DOCG, Dolcetto DOC, Barbera DOC, Sangiovese IGT, Vermentino IGT, Corvina IGT, Chardonnay IGT.

Seiterre directly manages the process of cultivation of the grapes, harvests and vinification, bottling, packaging, sales, and logistics.

Seiterre offers a rich selection of Italian Wines thanks to its 150 years of history and their vast experience and great passion. They apply the most innovative sustainable agriculture, production, and packaging methods. 

With the 5th Generation, Seiterre has been growing and looking to new markets in recent years. They are now developing their business in Europe, USA, and Japan. 

The company introduction was followed by a wine tasting guided by Carlo Alberto Manerba and Richard King, certified sommelier. 

During the wine tasting, we tasted four unique wines from the Seiterre collection: Chardonnay - Perla Gialla, Sangiovese - Perlarossa, Vasco de Gama Barbera, and Plato’ Amarone. We had the opportunity to learn more about the production and how to pair them with traditional Chinese food. 

The masterclass was followed by B2B organized by CICC with interested operators.
