CICC met with the Parliamentary Association 'Italy-China'

On September 4th, 2024, Lorenzo Riccardi, the Chairman of the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC), held a significant meeting with the Honourable Vinicio Peluffo, President of the Parliamentary Association "Friends of China", at the Chamber of Deputies in Rome. 

During their discussions, they explored important topics to strengthen bilateral relations between Italy and China. These included fostering synergies between the two nations, analyzing the latest economic trends emerging from China, and addressing the specific needs and challenges faced by Italian companies operating in the Chinese market. The meeting highlighted the importance of collaboration in enhancing economic and trade relations between the two countries.

About the Parliamentary Association "Friends of China"

The Parliamentary Association "Friends of China" was founded in 1970 by Senator Vittorino Colombo with the aim of promoting "people's diplomacy" between Italy and China. Over fifty years since its establishment, the Association continues to foster dialogue and mutual understanding through cultural and institutional exchanges, involving parliamentarians from all political groups. Despite the changing international landscape, the Association remains a key point of reference for strengthening relations between the two countries, promoting collaboration and mutual knowledge.
