CICC’s MEWG Meeting With Tongji University Professors, June 16

The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce with its Mechanical Engineering Working Group (MEWG) successfully met the Tongji University Professors on June 16, 2023.

The Tongji University opened the doors of the School of Mechanical Engineering wide, giving the MEWG a chance to get to know some of their Professors.

During the meeting, the Tongji Professors introduced some research projects they’re currently leading, while the Italian company representatives presented their corporate business.

The CICC’s MEWG attended the meeting, the Coordinator of the working group Carlo Nizia, Risk Management at UFI FILTERS Shanghai, the Vice Coordinator Riccardo Budriesi, the President at Marposs Shanghai Technology, and eight Italian companies representatives such as Belinda, KPSNC, Manuli, Marposs, RGS, Santoni, UFI FILTERS Group, Zoppas.

This meeting was very meaningful for MEWG and CICC because it allowed two sides of the same coin to interact. On one side were the Professors, that is, those who are in charge of training the engineering talents of tomorrow, and on the other side were the Italian companies operating in China, that deal with engineering every day.
