Company Visit at VFS Global, Jul. 24th, Chongqing

The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) is pleased to share that the Company Visit at VFS Global Chongqing Visa Center, themed “Making Cross-Border Mobility Simple and Convenient”, was held on Thursday, July 24th. This event, jointly organized with the European Chamber Southwest China Chapter and German Chamber of Commerce China · South & Southwest China, provided a valuable platform for attendees to gain insights into professional visa services.

Through this event, attendees had the exclusive chance to engage in face-to-face communication with the director of the Visa Application Center, obtaining the latest interpretations of visa policies. The interactive Q&A session and facility tour further helped address their specific concerns and showcased VFS Global’s standardized services. In addition, the introduction to Premium Lounge services and “Visa At Your Doorstep” program offered practical tips on completing visa applications without leaving home or the office.

In addition, we would like to remind you that applicants who currently need to submit Italian visa applications in the Chongqing consular district only need to meet one of the following conditions:

1. Hold a permanent household registration in the Chongqing consular district (including Chongqing, Sichuan Province, Yunnan Province and Guizhou Province);
2. Have a residence permit with a validity period of more than 6 months in the Chongqing consular district;
3. Be employed by an enterprise in the Chongqing consular district and can provide an employment certificate issued by the enterprise with a tenure of one year or more;
4. Be a student studying in the Chongqing consular district for one year or more and can provide a student status certificate.
