On May 8th, the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce attended the official inauguration of the new Zoppas Industries Heating Element Technologies plant in Jiaxing — a strategic investment of over €80 million across 88,000 sqm, further strengthening the Group’s footprint in the Chinese and broader Asian markets.
On 27th April CICC Chairman Lorenzo Riccardi met with Yang Dongshen, Vice Chairman of CCPIT Shanghai and Chairman of Shanghai International Chamber of Commerce at Auto Shanghai discussing about the car sector in China and the opportunities for Italian companies to cooperate in the domestic supply chain.

On April 29th, 2025, CAREL ELECTRONIC (SUZHOU) CO., LTD. commemorated its 20th anniversary with a grand celebration held at its Suzhou premises. The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) was honored to be invited to witness this remarkable milestone and share in the joy of a member whose journey has exemplified excellence, resilience, and cross-cultural collaboration over two decades.
The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce attended the opening ceremony of Wine to Asia Shenzhen International Wine and Spirits Fair 2025, held at the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center on May 9th, 2025.
CICC Chairman Lorenzo Riccardi, accompanied by Vice President Vinicio Eminenti, Board Member Alessandro Petrini, and Assocamerestero representative Pina Costa, presented key insights on the current state of Italian business in China. The session, streamed live, provided Members of Parliament with up-to-date data on exports, sector performance, and the strategic outlook for 2025.

The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) took part to the opening ceremony of the 2025 Yangzhou "Fireworks March" International Economy, Trade, and Tourism Festival, which was held at the Canal Sanwan Hotel, alongside the ancient canal. Mr. Wang Jinjian, Secretary of the Yangzhou Municipal Party Committee, and Mayor Pan Guoqiang attended the event, delivering speeches highlighting the city’s economic and social development prospects.

On April 12th, the "Italian Pizza Culture Tasting Event", jointly hosted by the Commerce Commission and Foreign Affairs Office of Yuzhong District, Chongqing, and supported by the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) and its Food and Drink Working Group (FBWG), took place at the International Sister Cities Food Street in Hualongqiao.

On April 25, 2025, the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) and Liyang Economic Development Zone co-hosted the “Italian Enterprises Liyang Business Trip High-End Equipment Special Event" in Liyang. The event aimed to foster partnerships in high-end manufacturing and smart equipment between Italian and Chinese enterprises.

On April 26, 2025, in Suzhou, Mr. Lorenzo Riccardi, CICC Chairman, met with Suzhou Mayor Wu Qingwen, together with representatives of foreign chambers of commerce. The meeting provided a platform to exchange views on global trade trends and new cooperation opportunities.
On April 23rd, the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce Innovation & Technology Working Group (CICC ITWG), in collaboration with the CICC Aviation and Aerospace Working Group (AAWG) and Low Altitude Systems and Economy Research Institute (LASERi), The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou) (HKUST (GZ)), successfully hosted the Low-Altitude Economy Seminar themed “Sino-Italian Vision on the New Era of Flight: Aerospace Innovation and the Low-Altitude Economy.”
