CICC HCWG - Healthcare Working Group, the new brochure

Dear Members and Friends of CICC,

The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) is glad to announce the launch of the new brochure "Italy & China For Health" (中意医疗保健合作) from Healthcare Working Group (CICC HCWG).

CICC HC is a network of Italian hospitals, universities and product/service providers, coming from:

  • The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce Healthcare Working Group: it has been founded in 2013 by the Italian Embassy in Beijing, and the group gathers 50 italian healthcare companies mainly operating in China since years, with local teams and localized products and several active successful case studies in China. 
  • Assolombarda and the Lombardy’s Life Sciences Cluster: the largest Italian regional entrepreneurial association in Italy, involving public and private healthcare players from Lombardy, a region with one of the most advanced local healthcare systems in Italy

VALUE AND VISION: The network’s companies represent the best excellences of the Italian Healthcare industry, in every area of expertise: hospital architecture and design, healthcare management, scientific research,  digital health, medical and wellness equipment and devices, pharma and legal/strategic consultancy. At the same time, they propose to the Chinese hospitals, healthcare authorities and other healthcare stakeholders as a strategic partner for the implementation of supply-chain pilot projects in key areas such as assistance to the elderly/people with disabilities and in medical specialties including oncology, cardiology, neurology, and primary care, aimed at the implementation of innovative, effective and technologically advanced health models, based on the principles of integration, inclusiveness and sustainability.

OFFERING   - A FEW EXAMPLES:

  • Long-Term Care project: the Project aims at creating a Patient-Centered Integrated Healthcare system based on a network of players’ collaboration for the wellbeing of the elderly population, by providing systemic and cost-effective healthcare solutions, in strict cooperation with the already existing local facilities, and with International (Italy-based) Centers of Excellences. The Project will include the set-up – in a pilot district or county - of a Long-term Care facility, which will offer support to ageing people, according to different levels of self-sufficiency, by providing residential care, rehabilitation and integrated home care services.
  • Early Diagnosis and Treatment of Liver Tumor Project: The project aims at offering the healthcare system to provide an all in one solution for the patient about prevention, diagnosis, therapy and post-therapeutic follow-up. Two trucks will be equipped to receive respectively Ultrasound equipment and patients and control and management room for telemedicine. The vehicles will be traveling to  the most remote – poorly equipped – areas  to provide to pre-selected citizens at higher risk (positive for hepatitis B or C and high AFP) of undergoing a liver ultrasound tests.
  • Inclusive  tourism: to develop tourism packages  to Italy, specifically designed  for Chinese guest with  to physical and mentally disabilities, with a focus on sports and culture .
  • Medical tourism: to establish a long-term cooperation with Chinese partners, to promote medical tourism towards the best Italian center of excellences, both for Emergency and Elective Care Services.
