The China delegation is the latest addition to this great chef network, officially founded on October 30, 2023.   About Our Learning House and their A Helping hand GanSu project   Our Learning House started in 2011 as a small community school and rehabilitation center to provide a safe and loving learning environment for orphans with disabilities and children with special needs. Through full-time teaching activities and a variety of community activities, they pay attention to the education, rehabilitation, and psychological counseling of each child, so that they can improve and integrate into society or successfully enter the adoptive family. In particular, their project named A Helping hand GanSu, poses its focus on providing the financial resources needed to support extremely poor children in mountainous areas, improving their conditions: From taking the children to a haircut to accompanying them home from school to cook a meal, tidying up the room, chatting, heart-to-heart talk.

  Dear Members and Friends, In the framework of VI Edition of the "Settimana della Cucina Italiana nel Mondo/Week of Italian Cuisine in the World”, the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC), in collaboration with the Consulate General of Italy in Shanghai, the Italian Trade Agency (ITA-ICE) and the Italian National Tourist Board (ENIT), kindly invites you to take part in a special Monthly Dinner celebrating the idea of aesthetics that perfectly combines with product quality in the concept of "Tradition and Prospects of Italian Cuisine: Understanding and Optimizing Food Sustainability". The aim of the evening will be to promote the Mediterranean diet as a balanced model and gastronomic lifestyle able to counteract food waste. About the "Week of Italian Cuisine in the World" The "Settimana della Cucina Italiana nel Mondo/Week of Italian Cuisine in the World" is promoted by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the International Cooperation, the Italian Ministry of Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policies, the Italian Ministry of Education, and the Italian Ministry of Economic Development.
