Dear Members,   Given the proximity of the new membership campaign and in order to introduce the new activities for the next semester, the CICC is organizing a meeting with the business persons in the Beijing area. The meeting will take place on September 13th, 6 pm, at the Italian restaurant La Dolce Vita (2F Friendship Youth Hotel, 43 Sanlitun Bei Lu, Chaoyang district - 朝阳区三里屯后街青年酒店2楼/3.3大厦后面) An Italian buffet dinner will follow.   Agenda: Shanghai “Raduno imprenditori” Follow up (June 17th-18th 2016) Indroduction of the CICC Working Groups Activities (focus on: Environment/Energy, Sport, Tourism) First Italian Cousine Week Abroad (November 21st-27th 2016) Beijing Gala Dinner and Tourism Award Awarding Cerimony (November 26th 2016)   We are open to suggestions on additional topics to be discussed.                          The China Italy Chamber of Commerce, in cooperation with the EU SME Centre, is glad to promote the webinar: "How to Tap into China’s Evolving Energy and Environment Sector." To tackle challenges arising from economic slowdown, booming energy consumption and alarming environment issues, the Chinese government has been reforming its energy and environment sector for years, allocating enormous funds and providing favourable policies to encourage new businesses enter the sector.  This webinar will discuss how European small businesses can develop right strategies to capitalise on China’s policy priorities in energy and environment sector. It will reveal the key drivers in the market, top Dos and Dont's for foreign businesses, explain how to avoid typical mistakes and share the best practices on how to succeed in the country.  After attending the webinar you will:  •    Gain an overview of the major challenges faced by China in its energy and environment sector; •    Understand the direction of China’s energy and environment policy reform and implications for businesses; •    Learn how to better structure your business to make the best of the market opportunities arising in this sector. He is also the CEO of In3act Global and GDG&D Srl. Ing. Giacconi received his Phd in Bioengineering from Bologna University. He is a lecturer and visiting professor in many Universities in Europe and Tsinghua University in Beijing.

Italian Wine Master Class 2016

Dear members, The China Italy Chamber of Commerce is glad and proud to promote a Wine Testing Master Class in 6 sessions, organized by Bibenda, magazine dedicated to the culture of Italian wine, and Cruitaly at the Italian Center in Beijing.  This Master Class aims first at training you to perceive and distinguish the various subtleties of the noble Italian wines. The second objective consist in enlightening you to the culture of wine, the regions of production and the numerous varieties of Italian wine. Wine is part of the Italian cuisine and the finest wine goes with the proper dish. Pairing wine with dishes is therefore the third objective of this seminar.       Sabrina Tumino and Ben Zhang will lead the course. Sabrina Tumino was previously Deputy School Director & Wine Educator at the Beijing branch of the Château La Tour Blanche school based in Bordeaux and currently responsible for the promotion of Italian wines throughout China. Ben Zhang has a five years Wine Bar working experience and began his professional journey under the tutelage of one of the greatest sommelier: David Andrew. They both hold intermediate to advanced certificates of the prestigious and worldwide famous WSET.    Each lesson starts at 7.30pm and lasts 50 min. For a better understanding, languages used will be Italian and Chinese, PPT shall be in English. You will taste more than 30 of the finest Italian wines, including Amarone, Barolo, Brunello,Di Montalcino, Taurasi, Chianti Classico, Serpico, Passito, etc. After a ten minutes’ break, you will have the pleasure to savour wines of the region studied earlier. Apart from the wine tasting aspect, this Master Class will also give you the opportunity to network with new and old friends, with other Chinese and Italian entrepreneur. At the end of the six lessons, a certificate of attendance and achievement as Wine Taster will be delivered to you by Bibenda.
