RECAP | Young Professionals Seminar & Aperitif, 13 Mar, Shanghai

On March 13th, 2025, the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC), in collaboration with its CICC Young Professionals Network, organized the Young Professionals Seminar and Aperitif at Matto in Shanghai.

Supported by the Benelux Chamber of Commerce and the Italian Chinese Professional Network, the event provided attendees with valuable insights on professional growth and cross-cultural collaboration.

The event welcomed 40 attendees, offering a dynamic platform for professional exchange and networking. Key highlights included:

• Opening remarks by Prof. Avril Accolla - CCIC Elected Board Member, Delegate to Relationships with Scientific-Academic Institutions and Director of the Research Lab SB&CB at the College of Design and innovation, Tongii University - providing an overview of the Chamber’s mission and activities.
• Insights into the CICC Young Professionals Network through a presentation by Pasquale Pometti, Coordinator of the CICC Young Professionals Network.
• Mauro Dong introduced the Italian Chinese Professional Network, outlining the group’s mission, activities, and upcoming initiatives to enhance cross-community collaboration.
• An insightful speech titled "Building Your Career in China: Opportunities and Key Sectors," led by Denise Sordilli, Marketing Coordinator Supervisor at Gi Group Holding, offering guidance on career opportunities in China and suggesting key skills to develop for future growth.
• Interactive Q&A session, allowing participants to engage directly with the speakers.
• An informal aperitif, fostering valuable connections in a relaxed atmosphere with networking opportunities across diverse professional environments, including young professionals and students from another international Chamber of Commerce.
