Innovation & Technology Working Group Elections 2024-2026

The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) is pleased to announce that the 2024-2026 Election of the Innovation and Technology Working Group (I&TWG) for the following positions:

One (1) Coordinator

Two (2) Vice-coordinators

is called on December 17th at 2:30pm (Beijing Time), 2024, via Zoom meeting. We are now starting to collect applications from members interested in filling these roles.

The deadline for submitting the candidate application is December 2nd, at 6:00 PM (Beijing Time)

The I&TWG represents the interest of all Italian companies in China working directly or indirectly in the Innovation Technology sector. Members of this group will work on defining, updating and taking part into the Working Group Program for increasing their knowledge and market share in the Chinese market.

Please note that the voting process will take place exclusively online. More details can be found below.

CANDIDACY PROCESS

Hereby, we cordially invite you to present your candidacy by filling in the form (available here) and sending it to elezioni2024@cameraitacina.com together with a scan of the residence permit, a short biography, and a headshot, by December 2nd, at 6:00 PM (Beijing Time).

Please note that the elected Coordinator and Vice-Coordinators will stay in charge for two years and must be regularly subscribed to CICC for the entire period.

Applications for the roles will be formally announced at least 15 days before the day of the election.

VOTING PROCESS

Upon candidates’ list announcement, each Member of the I&TWG can vote for max n.1 candidate for Coordinator and max n.1 Vice-Coordinator by sending an email to elezioni2024@cameraitacina.com within 24 hours prior to the date of the election (proxies are not accepted). All ballots are kept confidential. Please note only Members of the I&TWG who have completed the membership process more than 10 days before the date of the elections are entitled to vote.

CICC WORKING GROUPS

The Working Groups bring together representatives of companies operating in the same sector or located in the same geographical area. The aim is to share information, resources, and ideas, organize relevant activities for the companies and build sectorial expertise within the CICC in order to attract interest both in China and in Italy to benefit companies not present on Chinese territory yet.
