CICC FBWG Extra-Ordinary Election 2024-2025

The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) is pleased to announce that the extra-ordinary election of the Food & Beverage Working Group (FBWG) for the two vacant positions of:

• One Vice-Coordinator based in Beijing
• One Vice-coordinator based in Shanghai

is called on October 10th, 2024, via Zoom meeting.

The deadline for submitting the candidacy application is September 23rd, at 6:00 PM (Beijing Time)

The F&B Working Group includes all companies working in the F&B / Ho. Re. Ca sector, such as manufacturers, companies that import Italian products to China, Italian restaurants, etc. Despite being one of the most fragmented and challenged sectors, F&B represents an incredible opportunity for Italian companies.

In order to promote joint promotional activities and events and maximize the marketing appeal of Italian food culture, F&BWG welcome all aspirants in the catering industry to join and become one of the coordinators of the Working Group.

CANDIDACY PROCESS

Hereby, we cordially invite you to present your candidacy by filling in the form (available by scanning the QR code below) and sending it to elezioni2024@cameraitacina.com together with a scan of the residence permit, a short biography, and a headshot, by September 23rd, at 6:00 PM (Beijing Time).

The Vice Coordinators must be representatives of Members of CICC 2024. Positions are renewed once every two years, thus these two new vice-coordinator positions will be in charge for 2024 and 2025 (There will be a new round of ordinary FBWG election at the end of 2025).

Applications for the roles will be formally announced at least 15 days before the day of the election.

VOTING PROCESS

Upon candidates’ list publication, each Member subscribed for the FBWG and, who has completed the membership process more than 10 days before the date of the election, will be entitled to vote for max n.1 candidate for each Vice Coordinator position, by sending an e-mail to elezioni2024@cameraitacina.com within 24 hours before the elections (proxies are not accepted). All ballots are kept confidential. (please see the CICC Working Group General Rules page).
