In the last week of May, the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) was glad to welcome a delegation of the University of Macerata at its headquarter in Beijing.
The CICC represented by Lorenzo Riccardi, Chairman, Renzo Isler, Secretary General, Federica Viggiani, Vice Secretary General had the pleasure to meet with the delegation composed by Prof. Elena Cedrola, Dean of the Department of Economics and Law, Prof. Loretta Battaglia, Adjunct Professor of International Marketing, Marta Giovannetti, Assistant Professor in Marketing, Elisa Ballini, PhD Student in Marketing and Management.
The delegation also met with Liam Jia, Team Lead of EUSME Centre, the project funded by the European Union to support European SMEs of which our Chamber is leading partner.
The meeting focused on the European research project “TRUST - Digital tuRn in EUrope: Strengthening relation reliance through Technology” coordinated by the University of Macerata and that involves academic partners, companies and institutions in different countries including Italy and China to understand the role of trust in the implementation of digital technologies.
During the visit we had the opportunity to discuss the focus of the project: Blockchain and new technologies in the mechanical, food and lifestyle sectors.
The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce pays great attention to establishing and developing collaboration with universities and other academic institutions that look at China to help companies to obtain strategic information and students develop their career prospects into the Chinese market.
