CICC met with Invest Shanghai, May 24th Shanghai

On May 24th, Lorenzo Riccardi, the Chairman of the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce, Emilio Cassanelli, Board of member of CICC, Antonella Fontanarosa, CICC Vice Secretary General & Shanghai Office Manager, and Chen Wei, CICC Public Affair Manager, visited the Shanghai Foreign Investment Promotion Center. 

They met and had discussions with President Xue Feng and Vice President Sun Fang, accompanied by the Center's European Department Manager Yang Jane.

CICC Chairman Lorenzo Riccardi affirmed the support of the Center for Foreign Investment Promotion in Italy's Shanghai team. 

The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce plays an important role for the Italian companies in China to reinforce the cooperation local government.

CICC plays an active role in promoting to an higher level the economic and trade cooperation and exchanges between China and Italy.

Invest Shanghai President Xue Feng congratulates Lorenzo Riccardi on his newly elected role as chairman of the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce.

He introduced the latest economic and social development in Shanghai. He said that this year marks the 20th anniversary of the establishment of a comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Italy, the 700th anniversary of Marco Polo's death, and the 25th anniversary of the sister cities of Shanghai and Milan.

Italy has significant advantages in the development of various industries and is a key country in Europe. Italian enterprises have made remarkable achievements in Shanghai and in Sino Italian cooperation projects. The Municipal Foreign Investment Promotion Center is willing to deepen cooperation with the new CICC Board, supporting the development of Italian enterprises in Shanghai, promoting comprehensive cooperation between Shanghai and Italy in investment, trade, and other aspects, and welcoming more Italian enterprises in Shanghai for better development.
