CIIF 2023 | Call for F&B Italian Companies

The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) is looking for F&B Italian Companies to contribute to the success of this iconic event by sponsoring food & drinks at the lounge of the Italian Pavilion at CIIF 2023.

After the great outcome of the 2020 edition, Italy returns to CIIF 2023 with a 1,300 square meters Italian Pavilion, presenting the innovative and advanced technologies as well as the new products of the Mechanical and Engineering Italian companies to the Chinese public.

The Italian Pavilion is organized by CICC - China-Italy Chamber of Commerce and ITA/ICE - Italian Trade Agency, with the support of the Consulate General of Italy in Shanghai.

The fair will be held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai from September 19th to September 23rd. 

The main theme of this year's edition will be Digital Economy & Industrial Decarbonization.

More than 50 Italian companies will be exhibiting at the Italian pavilion, which will be located in the area 1.1 New Energy Auto Show (NEAS). The pavilion includes a spacious central lounge where it is possible to hold meetings or other group activities.

What we are looking for:

•     Italian Drinks (water, soft drink, wine, aperitivo cocktails)
•     Italian Savory food (any packaged food)
•     Italian Sweets (any packaged food)

Participation Terms

1. Participation in tendering is open to CICC Members and non-Members; 
2. Tenderers must possess the necessary knowledge, experience, technical support, and personnel capable to run the tender; 
3. The presentation must provide complete information, be drafted in Italian or English, and be signed; 
4. It is the responsibility of the tenderer to study the specifications and requirements before submitting the tender. 

Evaluation Criteria

The Supplier selection will be run by taking into account the event's requirements and the best quality/price ratio. 

If the bidding price is the same or the service/goods supplied are free of charge, CICC will give priority to its Members and it will select the first submitted bid which meets the standards required. 

If no applications are submitted by the Members of CICC, then CICC has the right to select the most appropriate application submitted by one of the non-Member companies.

Exclusion From Tender

The following circumstances will prompt immediate exclusion from the tendering process.

• In case of non-compliance with the conditions of the tendering process; 
• In case of non-compliance with this open invitation to tender; 
• In case of submission of false data; 
• In case of submission after the specified deadline. 

What is CIIF?

Launched for the first time in 1999, the CIIF is the most influential industrial fair in China and one of the largest in Asia. CIIF 2020 had an exhibition area of over 255,000 square meters and attracted 2,350 exhibitors from 22 countries and regions. Italy was second only to Germany in terms of number of exhibitors.
