Call for Speakers: IP Protection in China Marketplaces

The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) is looking for two IP experts for our upcoming online event IP Protection in China Marketplaces. The event will be held on October 13th-14th, starting from 4:00 pm (Beijing Time) and it will be organized in two online sessions.

During the two sessions, IP experts and company representatives will train companies and individuals on IP Protection (and data protection) in the China Marketplaces.

The first session will be a roundtable on the most frequent cases of online IP infringement, when the marketplace/platform is liable, and how to manage IP in the marketplaces. The second session will train on measures to protect IP.

We are looking for 2 IP experts to cover the following two presentations:

• When marketplaces are liable for IP infringements by vendors
• When and how to write a cease-and-desist letter to IP infringers. How to collect evidence of infringement

EVALUATION CRITERIA

• The selection of the speakers will be made according to the relevance of the proposals to the topic outlined.
• CICC will give priority to Members. In case of concurrent proposals, Supporting Members will be granted priority.
• Should there be no suitable applications from Members, CICC has the right to select the most appropriate application submitted by Non-Members. 

EXCLUSION FROM TENDERING

• In case of not meeting the conditions of the present "Call for Speakers"
• In case of non-conformity with the hereby open "Call for Speakers"
• In case of false data submission and late submission
