IP Customs Protection Training (Session III) with Prada, June 14th

The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) is glad to invite you to join the third session of the Training Program IP Protection through Customs” on June 14th from 3:30 pm (Beijing Time).

This program is organized by our Intellectual Property Working Group (IPWG) together with the China IP SME Helpdesk in three online sessions from May 17th to June 14th.


Session III

During this session, our experts from the IPWG and the China IP SME Helpdesk will train companies and individuals on trademark, patent and copyright protection through Customs discussing case studies in the Fashion, F&B & Mechanics Industries.

For this last training, we invited IP experts of the fashion house Prada to share the brand experience in customs protection both in Asia and Europe.

Felice Meli Partner at Ferrante IP
Felice Meli, Partner and Head of Anti-Counterfeiting operations of Ferrante IP. 
Living and advising on IP matters in China Mainland since 2012. With his legal background and experience in both civil and common law jurisdictions, Felice has built through the years extensive experience assisting enterprises from a wide range of industries in assessing and enhancing their intellectual property rights portfolios, providing strategies on registration and prosecution actions in China and south-east Asia. His experience extends also to enforcement of IP rights in China, from fighting the sale of counterfeits both online and in the marketplace to enforcement at trade fairs as well as customs border brand protection.

Giovanni Casucci Partner at EY Italy Law
Giovanni is an experienced lawyer in intellectual property law
Before joining EY, Giovanni served as partner in several top-tier international law firms, advising entities from both private and public sector. Beside being a lawyer, he has also been External Faculty’s member of the MBA courses at MIP-Politecnico of Milano for the IP issues since 2001; In addition, since 2008, Co-Director at the Politecnico of Milano of the Courses for the patent and trademarks attorney exam and IP professional continuing education, as well, since 2010, of the EPL - European Patent Litigation international course. Moreover, Giovanni has been Lecturer at the ICE (Italian Trade Commission) and Co-Director of the Master ICE-IdeaCina about IP rights and China from 2008 to 2014. External IP expert at the program IPR2– Beijing, external IP expert at the program IPR SME HELPDESK – Beijing, external IP expert at the program IPkey– Beijing
He was coordinator of the Commissions “Design” and “Trade Fairs” at the Italian Authority for Anti Counterfeiting (CNAC), Coordinator of Centro Studi Anticontraffazione, Milano.

Loretta Gulizzi IP Specialist Prada Group 
Loretta Gulizzi is an IP specialist in the Intellectual Property Department of Prada S.A., the company that owns the Prada, Miu Miu, Car Shoe, Luna Rossa and Granello trademarks and support the Prada Group in all the IP matters. She handles the online and offline anti-counterfeiting activities at worldwide level.
Before joining Prada, Loretta worked in the legal department of the multinational pharmaceutical company Boehringer Ingelheim and in the Intellectual property department of Guccio Gucci Spa.
She graduated in law at the University of Trento with a thesis titled “The protection of well-known trademarks” and holds a master's degree in “Competition and innovation law” from the LUISS Guido Carli University.

Antonio Lovecchio Attorney at HFG - Law & Intellectual Property
​Antonio Lovecchio is an Italian-qualified lawyer and joined HFG Law & Intellectual property in 2016. His area of practice within the Firm varies from Commercial law to Labor arbitration, from Intellectual Property rights to Corporate law. Has been assisting and supporting foreign companies in building, defending and implementing their IP rights in China. He assists European companies in international litigations and mediation procedures. His clients are mostly major players from the luxury fashion, automotive and Food & Beverage industries.
Antonio lives with his family in Shanghai since 2014.
